Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need iPads for Wayfinder?
No, as long as you have access to some level of IT. Phones, tablets, gaming stations (great for homework!) and even ICT suites, Wayfinder will be effective for your school.
Do you offer free trials of Wayfinder?
Yes. When you meet with your educational consultant, they will discuss with you how to make the most of your trial of Wayfinder based on the needs of your key stage.
Can Wayfinder be used as part of homework?
Yes! In fact, we pride ourselves on the fact that Wayfinder enables a much deeper connection between learning in the classroom and learning at home.
What's the difference between Wayfinder and SATs Springboard?
Wayfinder takes all the principles of the diagnostics on SATs Springboard and takes them right the way through the rest of the curriculum for year 6, and down through the rest of KS2. If you know and love the features on SATs Springboard, you're going to LOVE Wayfinder.
What subjects does Wayfinder cover?
Wayfinder covers maths, reading, GPS and science. All our maths and GPS mastery resources are diagnostically enabled.
Is Wayfinder mapped to the National Curriculum?
Yes. Resources on Wayfinder are all linked to the National Curriculum, and most use a mastery approach with sequenced tasks and increasing levels of challenge. There are also resources aligned with White Rose Maths and the NCETM.
What year groups is Wayfinder suitable for?
Wayfinder is designed to maximise progress in KS2. It also contains KS1 resources specifically designed to help KS2 pupils revisit those foundational objectives they may have learning gaps in.
Is Wayfinder suitable for schools outside of England?
Wayfinder has been designed around the English National Curriculum. However, we do have users outside of England who benefit hugely from Wayfinder, making use of the adaptability of the platform and resources to fit the needs of their pupils.
