Sir Kevan Collins and Learning by Questions unite

Learning by Questions is incredibly proud to announce that the retiring chief executive of the Education Endowment Foundation, Sir Kevan Collins, will be joining forces with Learning by Questions as the executive vice chairman.

Following recognition from BETT judges in January of this year as Innovators of the Year and a win at the Education Resource awards, we are incredibly excited about the collaboration with Sir Kevan Collins and what fantastic insights he will bring to LbQ.

On joining Learning by Questions, Sir Kevan says, “I am delighted that I will be spending some of my time with Tony Cann and the team at Learning by Questions. I am convinced that when technology is well aligned to support and complement great teaching it has the potential to transform learning. The evidence about the impact of effective feedback is clear. Learning by Questions (LbQ) harnesses the power of technology to direct teacher attention to meet the personalised and immediate needs of individual learners. I am excited about the future of LbQ and its potential to make a huge difference to the lives of children and their teachers.”

Sir Kevan will be joining Learning by Questions with over 30 years of experience in the public sector, including working as a primary school teacher; leading the Primary Literacy Strategy as National Director; serving as director of children’s services at Tower Hamlets; as well as being the first Education Endowment Foundation chief executive. He also gained international experience in Mozambique and helped to develop the national literacy initiative in the USA.
